Who Can Be Liable After an Intersection Crash in Knoxville, TN?

Liability after an intersection crash in Knoxville, typically depends on who had the right of way, how traffic signals were timed, and whether either driver violated a Tennessee traffic law at the time. To determine who is responsible, investigators rely on police reports, signal data, and witness statements.

Drivers and passengers involved in this type of accident can experience whiplash, fractures, or head injuries from a sudden side impact. These injuries are not always obvious right away and can require ongoing medical care.

In these cases, a Knoxville car accident attorney can help by requesting traffic signal records, reviewing any available camera footage, and working with investigators to reconstruct how the intersection crash unfolded. This kind of groundwork can be useful when insurance companies dispute who was at fault.
