Settlement for a motor vehicle accident in Washington County involving internal injuries and a fractured pelvis.
These are settlements and recoveries Fox & Farmer has obtained for injured people and their families across East Tennessee, in state and federal courts and in mediation. Each entry sets out what happened, what the injuries were and how the case resolved, because a dollar figure on its own tells you nothing useful about your own claim. No two cases are alike, and nothing here is a prediction about yours.
Amounts shown are total recoveries before deduction of attorney fees and case expenses.
Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome. Every case is decided on its own facts.

A settlement figure reflects the facts of one case: who was at fault, how badly one person was hurt, how permanent those injuries turned out to be, and how much insurance coverage existed to pay the claim. Change any one of those and the number changes with it.
Several of the results above were capped by the limits of the responsible party's policy rather than by the value of the claim, which is what "policy limits" means. Others went through mediation, a negotiation run by a neutral third party, rather than to a jury.
On every one of these files the firm's fee was capped by the same pledge it has kept since 1986: the client's share of a recovery is never smaller than the fee.
