
Knoxville, TN (August 16, 2026) – On Sunday, August 16, emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Maynardville Pike and Brown Gap Road.
Upon arrival, rescue personnel located an orange pickup truck, a black SUV, and a silver or gray sedan occupying the roadway. Dispatch units confirmed that three American Medical Response (AMR) ambulances responded to evaluate and treat the involved drivers and passengers.
Medical personnel assessed the scene and provided non-emergency hospital transport for six individuals who suffered injuries in the collision.
Local authorities are continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
